1980 KZ-250 Timing Chain Screwdriver-Based Retainer
This image is the beginning of the head-replacement of my motorcycle.  You can see the carberator and the exhaust pipe removed.  The timing chain is prevented from falling into the crank-case by a screwdriver.  This screwdriver occupies the cam-shaft cavity.  With the camshaft removed, the head can be removed.  On the outside, the camshaft drives the electrical points(not shown) which are a set of mechanical switches that operate the spark plug which is part of the ignition system.
