 This image is of my 1980 KZ-250 with its head removed. In this picture you can see the timing chain retained with a yellow zip tie. This prevents the timing chain from falling into the crankcase and maintains tension on the timing chain preventing it from losing position on the crankshaft pulley. They head was sent to a local machine shop for a valve replacement. This maintenance was completed successfully allowing me to maintain mobility during my college career. |
